Which Telegram signal formats AutobotSignal can read

If you already follow a Telegram channel that posts trading signals, AutobotSignal can read those messages and place the trades for you — on your broker, with your stake and your risk rules. This guide covers exactly which message formats are understood, which are skipped, and why.

How it reads a message

There is no required format. A message becomes a trade when it names two things: an instrument and a direction. Everything else — duration, entry time, emoji, hype — is optional. Your provider can keep writing exactly as they always have.

Anything the parser cannot read unambiguously is skipped rather than guessed. A wrong trade costs money; a skipped one costs a signal, and the app records why.

Instruments it understands

Currency pairs — written any way your channel likes. All of these mean the same thing:

EURUSD    EUR/USD    EUR-USD    EUR_USD    EUR USD

Both sides must be real currency codes. Alongside the majors, AutobotSignal reads the emerging-market pairs brokers list as OTC — including USD/NGN, USD/DZD, USD/PKR, USD/EGP, USD/IDR, USD/PHP, USD/BDT, USD/VND, USD/ARS, USD/KES, USD/RUB, USD/THB and EUR/HUF.

OTC markets — add the word anywhere in the message:

USD/DZD OTC SELL 1 min

Metals and crypto — GOLD, XAUUSD, SILVER, XAG, and BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, DOGE, BNB, SOL, ADA against USD or USDT.

Deriv synthetics — the spellings channels actually use:

Saying the direction

A direction can be a word or an arrow, and either works on its own.

To buy: buy, call, up, higher, long, bull, bullish — or ⬆️ 🔼 📈 🔺 🆙 ☝ 👆

To sell: sell, put, down, lower, short, bear, bearish — or ⬇️ 🔽 📉 🔻 👇

An arrow or a plain word is always the safest choice. Signal channels use symbols like hearts, ticks and coloured lights to celebrate a win or mark a loss — so they make poor direction markers, and a channel that relies on them is easy to misread.

A message that points both ways is refused rather than resolved:

EUR/USD BUY SELL 1 min     →  skipped, ambiguous

Duration and entry time

Duration is optional — without one, your own configured trade length is used:

M1    M5    5 min    5min    5m    1 minute    30 sec    30s

A clock time means enter at that time, and the trade is held until then:

EUR/USD BUY entry 14:30

USD/JPY CALL @ 09:05

Set the channel's timezone in the app so those times are read on the right clock. If your provider stamps the time on every post and you would rather trade the moment a signal lands, switch on Trade as soon as it arrives for that channel.

When the signal arrives in two messages

Plenty of channels post the pair first and the direction a moment later, often as a big CALL or PUT sticker:

That works. The pair is held briefly and completed when a direction arrives on the same channel, and the two are read together as one signal. Nothing is traded until both halves are in. If no direction follows, the setup expires and the app says so.

A sticker counts when the sticker's own emoji is a direction — an arrow or a chart. Stickers carry an emoji chosen by whoever made the pack, and that is what gets read.

What is never read

• Pictures with words on them. A graphic that says "CALL" is an image, not text. The words on it are not read.
• Voice notes, videos and forwarded screenshots.
• Edits. A message changed after posting is not re-read.
• Anything ambiguous or incomplete — no instrument, no direction, or both directions at once.

Check before you go live

In the desktop app, open Signals → Telegram, pick your channel and use Check recent messages. It runs your channel's real posts through the same parser the live path uses and shows you what each one would do — before a single trade is placed.

Two more things worth setting on each channel:

• Watch only — show a new channel's signals without trading them, so you can judge a provider against your own results first.
• The channel's timezone — wrong zone and its entry times look hours away and get skipped.

A note on what this is

AutobotSignal does not produce signals. It executes the ones you choose to follow, and every parsed signal still passes your stake, daily cap, payout filter, news filter and stop-loss before it reaches your broker. A signal source is an input, not a bypass.
